A demonstrator was killed and several other injured following violent clahses that happened at the end of a Football (Soccer) game played in the southern town of Masjed-e-Soleyman. The victim named "Arash Mehri-Dehno" was stabbed to death by members of Bassidj Force sent to smash the demonstration. Several other protesters were injured or arrested by the security forces. The clashes happened on Tuesday at the issue of the game opposing the 2 Iranian teams of Piroozi (former Persepolis) and Esteghlal (Former Taj). Heavy security measures have been instated inside and around the plants of "Iran Khodro" which is the main Iranian Car Maker company. These measures follow the Hunger Strike made by hundreds of employees who intend to protest against their conditions and the official decision to increase the Work Days by asking them to accept work tasks on Fridays. This is the first time that "Iran Khodro" is touched by a strike and the workers action can spread to tens of other companies collaborating with this industrial entity. Iran Khodro which was named, before the 1979 Islamic revolution, as "Iran National" was a major National asset but the Islamic republic conceded most of its shares to French and Italian companies.
